On Saturday, December 7, we will continue the popular tradition in participating in the annual Lighted Yacht Parade along the Oakland Estuary. We will be hosting a parade trip where riders can ride on the ferry – in the parade! Patrons will enjoy 360 views of parade views and other lit up and decorated vessels. Patrons will enjoy holiday music, a full snack bar and other holiday related engagements onboard the boat.
You’re invited to ride along with us! This year, we’ll depart from the Alameda Seaplane Lagoon Terminal and join the Parade in the Oakland Estuary. The ride is approximately 2 hours and the vessel will return to the Alameda Seaplane Terminal.
Onboard, riders will enjoy a full concessions service, holiday music, and views of the Lighted Yacht Parade in the estuary. Kids’ activities, music, and warm beverages will be available onboard for the duration of the trip. We encourage all patrons to dress accordingly as this event will be happening in the evening and will sail rain or shine.
Boarding begins at approximately 4:45 p.m. at the Alameda Seaplane Ferry Terminal with departure at 5:00 p.m. The ferry will return to Alameda Seaplane at approximately 7:00 p.m.

Every passenger who brings a new, unwrapped toy for the Oakland firefighters’ holiday toy drive will receive a complimentary ticket for a future ferry ride. Once on board, find the donation boxes in the main passenger cabin. A San Francisco Bay Ferry staffer will be at the donation area to give your complimentary ticket for a future ferry ride.
